Initial situation
Donkey Republic, the global platform for bicycle rentals through smartphone, arrived in Spain by deploying bicycles in Barcelona, Madrid and Málaga.
Challenge and communication strategy
Donkey Republic brought a new and different concept to the already existing models for bicycle rental services. To make the concept well-known, our strategy was directed to turists and locals, while actively working to improve the Donkey Republic local image highlighting sustainability.
Our taraget media was general and economic press, media and technological, lifestyle and cycling-specialized blogs.
Results
Currently Donkey Republic is recognized in all the cities where it’s present, especially in Barcelona, where Donkey Republic’s communication campaign has been very succesful. In six months a total of 66 impacts were obtained, including written and online press, TV and radio.
